The Leadership & Longevity Futurist
Meet Ines
Leadership. Longevity. AI. Living proof.
Nobody else holds all four
Dr. Ines O’Donovan, PhD & MBA
The Performance Gap
What if the performance gap in your leadership team has nothing to do with strategy — and everything to do with biology?
Most leadership development misses the one variable that matters most: The biological age of the person doing the leading. Not their years of experience. Not their IQ. Their cellular biology. And that single variable changes everything about how they think, decide, and perform under pressure.
That’s where I come in.
Who Is Ines?
The Leadership & Longevity Futurist who built the framework — and proves it in her own biology
I’m Dr. Ines O’Donovan, the Leadership & Longevity Futurist.
I help CEOs and executive teams measure, translate, and intervene on their biological age, so they perform at full capacity for longer, make sharper decisions, and lead in ways that actually compound over time.
This isn’t wellness. It’s not a “take better care of yourself” conversation. It’s a closed-loop performance framework — Bio-Optimized Leadership™ — backed by peer-reviewed science, built for business, and proven in my own biology.

What Organizers and Participants Say
What Happens When Ines Takes the Stage
From keynote stages to foresight workshops, audiences describe Ines’ work as rigorous, energising, and immediately relevant to how leaders live, think, and perform.
“This workshop was a real wake-up call for me. It transformed longevity from an abstract concept into a deeply relevant theme for how we live, work, and lead. I left inspired and convinced that longevity is a conversation we urgently need to engage with.”

Living Proof
I don’t just teach this. I live it.

I currently test 16+ years biologically younger than my chronological age. At my best recorded result, I measured a biological age of 20 at a chronological age of 51 — placing me in the top 2% for biological youthfulness globally.
That is not a product claim. It is a lifestyle outcome I have tested and maintained for years.
When I stand on stage and talk about what is possible for executive performance, I am the proof of concept.
The Intellectual Foundation
Built on decades of rigorous research. Not a wellness retreat.
My PhD at Lancaster University examined precisely how leader behaviors shape follower engagement — drawing on direct interviews with senior executives from Shell, Unilever, Air France/KLM Cargo, Gartner, and GE Money.
That research produced a new holistic model of employee engagement. It became the direct intellectual ancestor of Bio-Optimized Leadership™.
My MBA in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Technology (EDHEC Business School / Theseus Institute) ensured the framework would be commercially rigorous — not just academically sound.
Bio-Optimized Leadership™ is that original research — with one critical addition: biological age as the missing variable that every previous leadership model ignored.
When you map biology onto leadership behavior, the impact on team performance is not theoretical. It is measurable. And it starts immediately.
“Biological age is the missing variable that other leadership models ignore”
Ines O’Donovan, PhDThe Career Arc
Two decades at the intersection of technology, business, and human performance
Technology Roots
Where it started: Programmer at Deutsche Reichsbahn — and technical presenter freelance work for Microsoft during her studies.
But the stage found her early too. Ines began speaking during those same student years — presenting to professional and business audiences while simultaneously building her technology career.
The two instincts — analytical rigour and the ability to communicate it — have driven everything since.
Leadership & Mentoring
Building leadership frameworks: Head of the European Mentoring Program, European Professional Women's Network (2006–2011). Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Mentoring and Coaching (2011–2014).
Longevity Pioneer
A decade ahead of the conversation: In 2014, Ines launched The Forever Young Magazine, later Jeunessima Magazine — the world's 1st longevity magazine for women. Over 10 years and 30 published issues, she interviewed the scientists building the future of human longevity: Professor George Church (Harvard/MIT), Dr. Aubrey de Grey, Liz Parrish, Naveen Jain, and many others.
She has been in longevity for almost 15 years, building a longevity knowledge archive well before it became a mainstream conversation.
The Framework
Today: Bio-Optimized Leadership™ — where all of it comes together.
The Technology Edge
Technology is not a trend she follows. It’s part of how she thinks.
Stanford AI Longevity Futurist Certificate
Including building the BioAge Buddy MVP — applying cutting-edge AI to biological age research.
First of 2,000 to Create a Blockchain Webpage
Globally. An early mover in decentralised technology, not a latecomer.
Personal AI Avatar + OpenClaw AI Assistant
Built from day one of AI tool availability — not as a gimmick, but as a working intelligence layer.
Lifeboat Foundation Advisory Board
Advising on the long-term future of humanity and emerging technology alongside global experts.
None of this is for show. It directly shapes how Ines translates cutting-edge longevity science into frameworks that executive audiences can immediately act on.
Current Work
Bio-Optimized. Future-Ready.
Today, Ines’ work centres on Bio-Optimized Leadership™ — the Measure → Translate → Intervene closed-loop framework — and building the enterprise platform at biooptimizedleadership.com.
If you’re a CEO, a board, or an event organiser looking for a keynote that gives your audience a genuinely new competitive lens on leadership performance, let’s talk.
The Person

The work is serious. The life is joyful.
I live on the Côte d’Azur, France. I have a husband, two adult daughters and two granddaughters.
My personal performance protocol includes dark chocolate, dancing, cold showers, champagne (yes, really), and the ongoing science of living fully — for longer.
Both are very much intentional.
